Review Product and Installation Specifications
CTaSC will review existing specifications to evaluate and advise suitability of the product and the methods of installation relative to the specified applications and intended use and the level of required performance.
CTaSC can create new installation specifications for ceramic tile, glass tile, and stone (granite, limestone, travertine, slate, sandstone, marble, etc.) installation applications that includes tile exterior veneers, tile steam rooms, tile showers and bathtubs, tile swimming pools and water fountains, tile floors, tile spas, tile domes, and etc. Donato Pompo is a certified Construction Document Technologist (CDT) through the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and can provide specifications in the CSI Masterformat.
CTaSC can provide installation guidelines for specific applications that will include a quality control plan to be implemented during the tile installation to make sure the tile is installed correctly.
Installation specifciations will meet industry standards of Tile Council of North America (TCNA), ANSI A108, and Marble Institute of America (MIA) where applicable.
Provide Product and Installation Specifications
CTaSC can provide product and installation method recommendations for new or replacement project applications, and provide installation specifications and installation guidelines to ensure the tile will be installed correctly.
Reporting
As required, CTaSC can provide evaluation reports or specifications in writing either as an informal summary or as a formal guideline or as a specification in a CSI Masterspec format.
Quality Control Inspections
CTaSC can provide Quality Control Inspections during the installation that can include job site inspections before, during, and after installation.
CTaSC performs ceramic tile and stone inspections for the Tile Council of North America (TCA) and the Marble Institute of America (MIA). CTaSC provides objective ceramic tile and stone quality control inspections based on Tile Council of America Handbook (TCA) and ANSI standards and based on MIA Dimension Stone Design Manual standards.
